Norton Safe Search is a free web security application that concentrates on keeping a user’s online data safe and preventing users from visiting phishing or risky websites. It uses Norton’s Safe Web Technology to rate the security of a website, and to warn users about potentially harmful websites that might contain high-risk viruses or phishing.
In addition, to protect personal information and online transactions the app also monitors a phone’s operating system for threats to the operating system. It can also scan the Wi-Fi connection of a phone for possible threats and block websites that attempt to access sensitive information or download malware. The Android app also comes with features like Link Guard that protects your device from malicious sites, and Privacy Report that tells you which information apps are sharing with other services.
A cool feature is that you can write reviews on a website. This feature can help users avoid dangerous websites and let ideals virtual data room them share their experience. Sign up for an account with a Norton Community account and submit your site for it assessed. After the site has been reviewed and approved, it will be awarded a Norton Secured Seal. The seal will appear on the search results pages for Norton Identity Safe, Norton 360 and other Norton users.
When a Norton product is installed, like Norton internet security or Norton 360, the toolbar that gives you access to Norton safe search will be automatically installed. Norton’s update centre is accessible via the Google Chrome toll-free telephone number if the toolbar doesn’t work.
